From: Media Relations January 26, 2004James Madison University, will be CLOSED TUESDAY due to inclement winter weather. The swift moving low pressure system coupled with an arctic low from Canada that dumped several inches of snow and sleet in the Shenandoah Valley region Sunday evening through Monday has made automobile travel dangerous. The best sources for information about storm-related plans at JMU are: the main JMU Web site www.jmu.edu; radio station 1610 AM (in Harrisonburg only); recorded messages at 540-433-5300; and commercial radio and television stations.
